View Full Version : PNG Splash Page - Border?

I am using a PNG graphic of a CD for my splash page - but this also displays a rectangular "transparent" border around the graphic. I know the graphic is borderless (from Adobe Photoshop).

I have seen other applications (like Adobe Premiere Pro) use PNG splash pages that are truly borderless. Is this possible with AMS?

Has anyone else experienced the problem - and got a workaround?

Thanks

Yes I have had this problem, it turned out that my PNG image was not truly black at the edges. I think you will find that your image has some feathering near the edge and it is slighly less than 255 for the RGB values, I did mine if Photoshop and when I expanded the black layer outside the image size it worked, or create a new layer and flood fill with black. AMS treats 254 RGB as non-black and the page background is no doubt set to white, so it shows a white boarder.
