Is there a way that I can invoke the popup menu (plugin) to show on a right mouse click? It seems it would be easy, but I can't figure it out.

And Brett (or anyone who knows), must the popup menu work on a label object only? I'm trial'ing the plugin now, but if it can do the right-click, I will purchase :)

Thanks.

There is no right-click event on the page background. However, you do not have to show the menu on a lable object. It can be displayed anywhere on the screen. As far as detecing right-click on the background, I remember that Worm made a DLL to detect mouse movement a while back and it may have also detected right-click, I don't remember.

Sorry,

the DLL I wrote only gave the X,Y position of the mouse. Tig, made a nice demo using it in a timer. He posted it here, and if memory serves me, it was called Proxy Pal or something like that.

Yes I wrote a proggie and posted it here and it used the DLL and it was called Proxy Pal.

I only used the DLL to sense when the mouse was over the window. When the mouse was over the window it would set the opacity of the window back to full opacity. When you moused out it would let opacity back town to 50% or so.

I don't know about capturing a right vs left mouse click however.

Proxy Pal would make a great name for a non-dairy cream substitute. On their logo they could turn the "O" a smiley face. I'd drink it if it had a smiley face on it. I automatically drink anything which has a smiley face on it, it's my policy.

Alright Worm, how's about a right-click dll when you get time? It's not a dire need, but I think many would like! I could definitely think of several uses for it in future projects :)

Eh, when you have nothing else to do. I know, when is that?

BTW, here's a neat project that I had this right click in mind. It utilizes (of course) your opacity dll, the plugin popup menu, another program I created using this great software, and a few other things. Thanks Worm & Brett (and too many others to mention) for the stuff!! This software does rock!
