Oddly sequenced grammer, I know...but I'm making a background proggy and it works great. Only problem is that if it's running, my audio program (Sound Forge) won't play back because the audio resources are being used by this program.
Since this background program won't require any sounds, is there a way to set it up so it won't use any audio resources? Either inside AMS or altering the basic files?
Thanks!

Hope this helps...
I tried SoundForge and an AMS 5 (Pro for this example) application and I could hear the sound playing through the SoundForge recording.

For me, on an Audigy 2, I can control which sound goes where, i.e. I can record it if I like in Sound Forge or not, my option. So I guess it's soundcard dependent.
But just FYI when I was using only the onboard Realtek AC'97 I still had no problems... Maybe it's your driver, you know how notorius sound drivers are for causing subtle hauntings and such. Next to video drivers, sound drivers are the wackiest bunch since, "The Archies". Zany too!

Thanks guys,
It's gotta be a sound setting. This is on a much slower computer. AMS5 barely runs on it so I'm not suprised...
