Hi everyone;

First I have to commend everyone on this board.. its very rare to see so many people that help each other out.. Thank you.

My question.. I have a potential customer that wants to hire me to create an interactive cd menu . It a restaurant that wants menu's.. video.. etc. on a cd.

What should I charge for this type of service.. any feedback is really appreciated..

Thanks

Eddy

$10,000 an hour, or is that too much? http://www.indigorose.com/ubb/images/icons/laugh.gif

Personally, I discuss projects/pricing in two ways...design and replication. In the design I ultimately equate my time at $55/hr-$75 hour. That is really quite cheap but I am in a small market, non-techie market. (Anchorage, Alaska). In your application, I would guess your design fee should be a minimum of $500-$1500 and that does not include ~designing~ custom artwork/graphics/logos. Also, make sure you communicate you probably will not design your Autoplay for all OS's.

If you also offer web design, I use these types of inquiries as a way to offer my web design services because I like to mirror the web design to the CD and vice versa.

Just my 2c.
