Hi,
I want to upgrade to Autoplay 5. I have a lot of files that were created in version 2. I am wondering if these will open and function properly in Version 5 when I need to edit them or does anyone know of any issues I might need to be aware of?
Thanks,
Penny

There is no automatic conversion process for AMS20 to AMS50. By comparison, AMS50 projects are capable of *so* much more - the products are related by name and heritage only!
You shouldn't find it difficult to use your AMS20 projects as a model for your new AMS50 projects. Since AMS20 only had 3 built-in objects (image, single line text and hotspot) and 9 actions (with a limit of one action per event!), you will definitely be able to put together projects in v5.0 that make the v2.0 projects pale in comparison.
And the bonus is that all of the added design tools and wizards make it just as easy to use as v2.0! To get started, we've also included a very comprehensive User's Guide that walks you through everything in easy to follow lessons. On the other hand, if you run into any questions at all, you can post them here on the community forums or email our use the "technical support incident request" system built in to AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 (see the Help menu for more details). We're really fast at answering your questions!
