One of my favorite features in AutoPlay 3&4 was the one in Page Properties where you could declare an image for "Normal", "Mouse Over", and "Mouse Down" and then use a Hotspot object to show the Mouse Over or Mouse Down area.
I can't seem to do this or find this with 5.0! Is it gone or just hiding somewhere else? I have searched the help and can't find anything about it. Can someone help me do this feature. I miss it terribly.

Hi. Sit down before you read this. That specific feature is deprecated as of version 5.0. Apologies for any inconvenience.

That functionality has been replaced by the use of Button objects. They provide a much more manageable and modular way to accomplish nicely blended GUI elements. I know it is different but if you take the time to learn to use Buttons to accomplish what you used to with multiple background images I think that you will find them more udeful in the long run.
<<Brett's note to self: Don't put features into software that you may have to remove later.>> ;)

I think that's a shame. I liked the feature. Yes, the button feature is good on the new one, but it was nice to make three graphics only and use them for those states.
Maybe it can be brought back in a future version (hint, hint).

Forward is the way to go, onward and upward. :) The new system is far superior, unfamiliar at first but you'll get used to it quickly if you use it. If you ever need any tips or anything just ask...

If you haven't seen Corey's video tutorial on how to make the buttons, you should download and watch it. If you already have the 3 states of the images, creating the buttons is really a matter of drag and drop in the button maker.
Check it out. And thanks Corey! I even learned a couple tricks in Photoshop from that tutorial. Then again, it wouldn't take too much to teach me anything about Photoshop :D
