Launching local HTML

I am trying to launch locally stored html files using the Open Document action (have also tried Open URL. In Netscape the file usually opens but a message is given suggesting that the file doesn't exist. Are there any work arounds for this. Everything works fine using IE.

I think I remember something about this. If I recall correctly, everything was all right after I learned that the file that you link to can have NO SPACES in it.

I tried a local path at the root level and no spaces in the path, and got the same error message. Thanks for trying though.
