View Full Version : Hot spot over Text Box - Possible?

I've been creating a representation of a table by using text boxes.

It looked just how I wanted it to but then I needed to put hotspots over some parts of the text.

It appears not to be possible as the text boxes are always in front and stubbornly resist a 'send to back' - or have I missed something obvious?

No big deal 'cause I've done it now with text objects which don't look as good, but it'll do - just asking for future reference.

In the new version 5.0 you can do this, that was one of the many improvements...

A workaround to get the same effect in 4.0 is to take a screencap of your completed project into an image editor, then snip out the text areas complete with a rectangular portion of surrounding area. You can then import these rectangular images into your project as buttons.

Hope that helps... :)

Well slap my thighs - it never occurred to me to do that - could have just captured the original table and saved several hours. That's one that I'll remember - thanks Corey

p.s. - Is there a release date on the horizon yet for AMS5?
