Hi,
Using version 4.0 I know how to insert an SWF file in a page.
That's working fine.
I don't now how to make a controller to stop, forward, replay etc. etc. the movie.
Can somebody give me some tips?
Is it possible in version 4.0?
If yes, how to do this?
Thanks,
Raymond

Yes it's possible, no problem. Easier for you is to download the free wildform movie controller component and just drag 'n drop it onto your mvie clip *in Flash* and then re-publish to .swf, and voila it's done.
But if that's not possible for you here's how to create a stop, play and rewind button.
A) Stop button :
1. Create a button, hotspot or text label which says "stop".
2. Attach a FLASH OBJECT > STOP action to your object's "OnCLick" event.
B) Play button :
1. Create a button, hotspot or text label which says "play".
2. Attach a FLASH OBJECT > PLAY action to your object's "OnCLick" event.
C) Rewind button :
1. Create a button, hotspot or text label which says "rewind".
2. Attach a FLASH OBJECT > SEEK > BEGINNING action to your object's "OnCLick" event.
Hope that helps...

:) Hi Corey,
Thank you!
This really helps.
I am using Camatasia Studio for making capture movies and using Autoplay to make a CD of all movies.
With Camtasia Studio product I can make a basic controller which is included the SWF file or an advanced controller which is an extra SWF file (so I have two SWF files).
With the advanced controller I can use my mouse to go forward or backwards.
I can only insert one SWF on one page, so I can not use the advanced controller.
With the basic controller I am missing the length and duration of the movie and I can't use my mouse to go forward or backwards.
Is there a solution to get these "missing things" of the basic controller. (Basic controller = start, stop, play, pause)
Last question: where can I download the free wildform movie controller.

When you say, "use your mouse to go forwards and backwards" are you referring to a slider? If so then no problem. I think the Camtasia extension can do that so double check but if not then the Wildform one can, since they're both free no biggie.
But if you are saying that you don't own Flash and have to use a solution which is Flash free then I'm not sure, in that case you would be subject to whatever that Camtasia one offers or designing your own. It wouldn't be too hard to create an external one if you know Flash but then again that doesn't help if you don't have Flash.
So the short answer is that if you don't have Flash you pretty much have to use what they gave you... Wish I could offer more. Don't forget though that AMS has the FLASH OBJECT > SEEK action which you can integrate into any programmigt ideas you have...
Hope that helps. :)
