Simple stuff - how do I install the beta preview?

Hello,

Earlier in the month, as a complete beginner, I downloaded & installed AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 Beta. It seemed like just a couple of days later that I went to try it only to be told that it had expired.

OK, unable to sleep this morning, I downloaded ams50ev-beta0551.exe. This took about two hours but now I cannot get it to install.
Clicking it in Windows (XP Pro) a command window opens and very rapidly closes. Opening a command window (difficult not to say DOS!) and trying to run it I get told "Program too big to fit into memory".

What am I doing wrong please?

First of all, make sure that you got the entire download. The file should be 29.2 MB (30,652,559 bytes) in size. If not, then that is the problem. Otherwise, try clearing out your Temp folder, rebooting and running it again. Let me know how that works.

It's 29.2MB but only 30,631,032 bytes - I normally use GetRight but this was IE6 doing its stuff not well enough - I'll have to try again tomorrow morning...
