*.inf files

When i click on a button, i want to have a *.inf ext. started up, not viewed (like if you right click on it and choose install.) How is this possible?? THX anyway

I have tested this out, and I cannot seem to find a method that works. This doesn't appear to be a possibility in AutoPlay Menu Studio.
Has anyone else had any luck with this?

Hi,

Try using a CUSTOM VERB action, the custom verb that you are going to use is: "Install".

You CUSTOM VERB action should look something like this:

File Name: %SrcDrv%\MyInf.INF
Run Mode: Normal
Custom Verb: Install

Try this out and see if it works for you, I tried this on my WIN 2000 machine and it worked properly. Be sure to test this on all available Operating Systems.
