I am having trouble trying to get a custom icon to show up in the windows taskbar. I have identified my .ico file and checked the "Use external icon file" in the Build Options section of the Project Settings / General tab.
When I build the menu, the icon file is copied to the output folder and is referenced in the autorun.inf file. But...no joy! Only the text Menu-pagename shows up in the Windows taskbar... no icon. Any ideas?

Hi,
What format is your icon in? AutoPlay only supports standard Windows ICO icon files.
16x16 or 32x32 in 16 colours.
If you think that your icon meets these requirements and are still having problems. You could e-mail your icon to support@indigorose.com or me, along with a brief explanation of your problem, and I'm sure someone will be able to solve your problem.

Mark--
Thanks for the reply. I've been so buried in building this huge DVD-ROM project (for which I'm happy to be using Auto Menu Studio to do the 40-page front end) that the issue of the non-appearing ICON had to take a back seat for a few days. Anyway, onto the issue at hand.
At certain settings my icon (now 16 colors) DOES appear as expected, including in the Title Bar and Windows Task Bar. Now for the rest of the story...
What a great new feature Full Screen is--it provides menus with such great impact. http://www.indigorose.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif However, therein lies the problem. I have designed the menu to be in "Full screen mode" WITHOUT "Show title bar" checked. So, I don't care about an icon appearing in a title bar.
Unfortunately, when a full-screen, no-title-bar menu is MINIMIZED, the Windows task bar DOESN'T show the icon; it only shows the Window title (text). If I turn on the "Show title bar" option then the icon DOES appear when the menu is minimized. This seems a minor oversite that could be readily fixed. Is there a work around? A patch? http://www.indigorose.com/ubb/images/icons/laugh.gif What do you think?
Thanks for your help.
