Some new idea for package

1. New properties for package: Enabled, like CheckBox. This is use in custom install.
2. Package conditions.

I believe that your suggestions might already be handled by Setup Factory, especially the first one. While Packages do not get assigned "enabled", every conditions tab in Setup Factory has a Packages drop down menu. Now if you select a menu in that drop down, it basically means (as a condition) that the specified event will only take place if the selected package is going to be installed.
As for your second suggestion I am a bit confused, perhaps you could clarify?

Sorry for my second suggestion, that it is brief and a bit confused. So, I think need conditions tab or properties for package. These conditions to decide package is installing or not. More, these conditions results are false, package color is gray and not checked on custom install.
