"video not available " error

The system does not have the MPEG4 layer codecs installed. These codes come installed with media player automatically. In order to get around this, u need your menu to run an exe to install this automatically. I do have one available, just shoot an email, and I'll email it to u. Very small, runs quickly and silently

I have a series of embedded .avi's (Indeo codec) that play back fine on the computer I authored the menu in AMS. But when I play the CD in some OTHER computers, I HEAR the audio, but where the video should be is the cross-hatch pattern with the words "video not available. cannot find 'vids: mpg4' decompressor".

When I double click on my avi's from the explorer menu they play FINE in Windows Media Player....What gives?
