sf6 file format

I need to be able to create a sf6 file (or modify a master sf6 file) from our selfmade component management tool.

How to create it ? (When I edit a sf6 file in notepad I see some special caracter).

The file format is binary. Due to the way the data is serialized, it is not possible to modify the product from outside of the code.

In the future we plan on adding interfaces to the product that will allow you to modify your setup project from outside of the GUI.
