Sorry but Setup Factory was designed to encapsulate all of the files inside a single .exe file. If the files have already been installed on your system then finding out what they are may be too late anyway. Personally I would backup important data and reformat the computer.

thanks I was afraid of that. is there be a log or anything? that your program leaves stating the files installed/changed?

is there anyway to tell what application some one has put in to an .exe with Setup Factor?

the reason why I ask is that I D/L an exe that installed who know how many viruses/backdoors programs onto my machine, if any of you could help me find out what it installed/changed I would be eternally grateful

Hi,

There is an install log file that can be created if the developer wants. This file is called logfile.txt by default.

Remember, creating this log file is an option that is available to the developer; her or she does not have to create a log file.
