A little guidance if you will please.

SF 5.0.1.4 works excellent for Win 95, 98, and ME. When I try the same install on NT or Win 2000, the setup goes Ok. When I try to start the program (FMP Runtime), I get the message "XXX.exe is not a valid Win32 Application" XXX is the name of my exe file.

If I make a manual installation of the program, no problems.

I have "All O/S checked for the install OS.

Any ideas,

Thank you
Gary

Are you using the commercial version or the evaluation version?

You might have a corrupt copy of the software. I would suggest trying to download the software again.

Darryl,

I am using the CD version that I licensed from Indigo Rose about 3 to 4 months ago.

Hi,

Have you tried re-building the installation? Perhaps the installation itself became corrupted?

Are you creating an installation log file? You can create one of these in: Settings -> General Design -> Settings Tab and check the "Create an Installation log file" checkbox. When you compare the log files from a WIN 9x and a WIN NT machine are there any glaring differences?

If you are still having problems perhaps you should e-mail support@indigorose.com and attach your SF5 project file, an installation log file from a WIN 9X machine, and an installation log file from an WIN NT machine. Either explain your problem or provide our support staff with a link to this discussion.

mark.
