I did a quick search and only found some old (ver.5) posts with no good resolution. Wondering if anyone has a dll or plugin to record audio (wav/mp3) from w/in ams?

Yes, you can use sside's AudioCapture Library:

a few years ago i made an app for some friends that run a pirate radio station (its leagle now tho), this app did various stuff but one of its core functions was to record DJ sets to post at the stations website (PLUG>>Shine FM 87.9 (http://www.shine879fm.moonfruit.com/)<<PLUG)

anyway, the point is, i searched high n low for something that could record good quality sound and had all the gimmicks i was after (record to MP3/WMA, select output device etc)

after testing and ditching loads of free components i tested and eventually got my pals to buy THIS (http://www.guangmingsoft.net/audiorecord/)

you can use Active Audio Record in AMS (lua) with the help of LuaCOM (free) or retesets ActiveX plugin (not free)
