I like your idea!
Well, what I basic want from a player is play songs (obviously), let me edit ID3 tags and have the equalizer. Then, as secondary functions, video support (thought, it isn't necessary at all; I always use K-Lite's media player classic as video player).
Another thing that should have any player and it's it should remember last playlist with last played song highlighted when starting player (to better explain, Winamp style).
And as last, it should be faster when loading. For those who used Winamp, they know it takes lots of seconds before starting the software, and even when it's is started, if you restore it from taskbar it takes lot for loading. This should never happen in a good player.

Anything else, are third part functions not useful for me, but is good if they're there.

Off topic:
How is it going YTD's development ?

This would be great for watching anime, assuming you would have playlist support and support for streaming videos over the internet, which you could implement using LucasTheDuck's ToobPlayer if he'd let you.

Ah man, I can't wait now. I asked rexzooly or sim to do it but he's delayed it and I'd like to see your open source alternative. I'll also get my theme team in Source Laboratories to come out with some themes if your customizable GUI has theme support, they've done really well with Box when that was 'out there'.

lyrics are shown for songs - that is via CheckBox, that is, but we want it, that does not appear.
Another suggestion is to show the time as 00:23, as -03:12.
T3STY as he rightly says, that is fast, clean and effective.
Read the most popular formats and open source formats, like .ogg
If you can also, not occupying much space on the screen and the option to run in traysys like KMPlayer.

Hope I'm not abusing XD

Awesome stuff, infinityscape. :yes

Love the concept of support for displaying lyrics. Hey listen, there's a cool Lyrics-Display application called MiniLyrics (http://www.crintsoft.com). It'd be awesome if you could fashion the support for lyrics-display along the lines of this application ... have been trying to make something similar myself for ages but discovered it was a wee bit beyond my skillset. Anyway, just a suggestion.

I like the name, Fusion ... that's cool.
Love your stuff, mate. :cool

To show lyrics, i like very much the Evil Lyrics, its a app not incorporate of the one Media Player, but works very well, and its good because if the letters are not good, you can change them right there and it automatically corrects and writes a. txt to the future when we hear the same music, he can pick them up first before searching the various sites that have in the database

There just aren't enough people that can design as well as you in the world..

Again, you haven't ceased to amaze me!
