SUMMARY

AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 comes with extensive documentation in Microsoft HTML Help format. This format was chosen because it provides many benefits that are not available in a printed format.
However, we understand that some users prefer to read parts of the documentation on paper. The latest version of the AutoPlay Media Studio help file allows you to print as much or as little
of the documentation as you need.

DISCUSSION

AutoPlay Media Studio has extensive documentation within its online help file. In fact, it contains the equivalent of more than 1380 printed pages of information. (If you removed all the screenshots, printing the documentation would still fill up 488 single-sided pages of text. Our last count put it at approximately 133,998 words!)

The documentation was designed to take extensive advantage of online help features, such as popup word definitions and hypertext links. This made it possible to explain complicated concepts and procedures in a way that doesn't overexplain for advanced users, while at the same time providing more information for the beginners who need it. This kind of approach would not be practical with traditional print documentation.

Providing the documentation in HTML Help format allows us to keep the documentation up to date with the latest changes to the program, so you will always have accurate reference materials that reflect the version you're using.

It also makes the documentation fully searchable, so you can find the information you need as quickly as possible.

To print any part of the help file:

1. Right-click on the heading or "branch" in the table of contents (on the left-hand side of the help file) that contains the topics that you want to print, and select "Print..." from the popup menu.

2. Choose the "Print the selected heading and all subtopics" option, and click OK.
