Anything to say Jassing?, :lol
Isn't this amazing how a new forum member with one post can create such a plugin? lol...VIP in disguise again I'll wager. :rolleyes

Geez.. no ef'ng shame.
we really should not feed the trolls anymore.
PATHETIC.
I'm simply astounded that he would register a 2nd nick and post this. Like we haven't posted all the code for those functions publicly.
How disappointing. "script kiddies" -- I'm at a loss for words.
he didn't even have the courtesy to thank those that helped him.
I am now going to seriously filter the help I give... back to just posting "read this in help" rather than posting code.
I'm so disappointed. What a looser. so pitiful, disappointing, poor script kiddie...

This pretty much sums it up.

I dont mind if its VIP or someone else to post plugins for AMS, as long as they put credits to the real makers. If this time is really VIP disguised, I guess he's looking for a few "enemies".

Cumps,

Cumps,
Maybe a set guild lines are needed before plugins are posted and if a user, uses code from someone else then they should be credited but I don't think a new 1 time poster have the best intrest of the forum when posting a plugin without getting to know the forum or the people its giving the plugin to, I have seen many comments about people getting plugin code and saying its bad but I see why the users did it as there is not away to check if the source is safe we don't know if this plugin as a call back function or anything.
I feel all plugins should be opensource for people that are new so they can build up there respect before been people download any closed source plugins from that member.
I feel this would stop people from stealing without others knowing at first at lest but it also enables the older members to show the new members where they could better there plugins.

Cumps,
They shoudl post hte CODE rather than the binary.
PEOPLE: You dont tknow these kids intentions; they could have code that works; but also a timebomb or does something else -- you have no way to knwo. Personally; I don't download plugins, exe's, etc from someone that doesn't have a solid rep here. You really shouldn't be downloading this crap.
two weeks ago I got a client from the forums becuase his AMS project wouldn't work on vista and wanted me to "fix it" -- he used a script-kiddie plugin; I redid the work in lua so it would be a "drop in replacement" -- even he asked "If it is a sum total of 30 lines of code, why didn't he just post it if that solves the vista issue?" I didn't charge him, I felt bad for him being duped.

Wont' happen - this is what I've been preaching, publicly and when the script kiddies PM me "Why you so mean to me?"
They think "their hard work" (that we've all done for them) is worth protecting "ha, they need me now. yea"
Live by example.
My one (and only "plugin") was put up as an lmd, but that's becuase it was writen in C, not lua, so it wasn't usable elsewhere; I have since diminished my own plugin with pure lua code for all my projects.

I wish we could use the power of .NET in AutoPlay so we can write managed code for plugins. C++ is such a pain for me, C# is so much easier.

I love that "managed code" HA! that always makes me laugh.
.net is nice; but it's slow. It's runtime is huge and cumbersome. I'd bet that a plugin writen in C# is slower than one if you wrote it purely in lua and api calls.
IF C# is "easier" for you than C or C++; then it's just a way of thinking that's hard for you. (I'm 100% the other way) -- For every ".net enthusiast" you'll find two or three ".net haters" only we usually stay quiet because it's not worth the effort -- but here, for "plugins" I don't see a gain in using C# over C or C++.
-j
(FWIW, I somehow manage my code, VFP, VB, LUA, etc all just fine w/o .net)

C# is latest fault of MicroSoft like Visual Basic in the past
of course it is OK on Web Development because hosting provider
prepares all framework and its updates for you
Windows 2003 Server With .NET 3.5
but for desktop development running a C# and other .NET enabled programs
is really a pain for developer
i do not mention about end user
i prefer to know C++ because .NET had been written in C++ :lol
also C++ is much easier than C# if you look at them deeply
