preview no longer working

Dear all, until yesterday I could use the preview button and automatically the program would run for testing. If I want to test the program I'm writing today, I need to compile the program and execute the program in order to test this.

Does anybody have an idea what may have caused this change of AMS behavior?

I am sure it is somehow project related because when I open old projects, they still behave as usual when pushing the preview button.

Very strange. Have you tried checking the Task Manager? Perhaps there is a rogue preview process 'permanently' running.

Rather than take ages trying to track down the fault, it's probably worth uninstalling and reinstalling AMS.

Found it! I am using a COMODO firewall and apparently a module of that app stopped working and prevented AMS to do a shell execute.
Solution was: reboot PC...
