Dear all,

more and more I'm bumping into the problem of AMS no being able to read & write & show unicode characters correctly. For some of the things I want to do, this could be a workarround: work with richt text boxes, save the contents to RTF and convert the RTF to plain text (UTF-8).

Does anyone of you know a good, small convertor tool with a command line interface that I could use for this?

thanks

gert

dear all,

I tested many of the tools I could find on the internet. Most of them have a GUI but no command line interface. Those that have a command line interface, don't do UTF-8.

So far the only tool that does a good job is Open Office and MS-Office, but these come without command line interface as well.

So I really hope someone has a solution somehow, or at least something I can test.

thanks,

gert
