Sometimes SF8 gets this error:
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library
incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more
information.
I address how this can be solved (at least in my scenario) in the SF7 forum post:

I'm just repeating this here so the Indigo Rose team knows that it is still a problem in SF8.
