Hello,
I'm wondering if there is a way to exclude many files and folders from a 'Folder Reference'?
Thanks

Hello,
no - folder references are normally used when all of the files in the folder should be deployed. You can single out certain files to be installed elsewhere, or you can use masks to select just a certain type of files to be included/excluded, but if you need something other than this, you may want to add the files/folder directly to the project.

I see, the only problem is, in the case of adding files one by one, I have to manually add the newly created files to each new version, and this is what I wanted to avoid by using a Folder Reference.
For files, the mask works OK. But for folders, I'm using SVN as a version manager. And SVN creates a hidden '.svn' folder in each working folder that I want to Exclude.
Also, the structure of my source folder is the same as the version to patch ... only some new files and the .svn folders that I have to Exclude.
Any idea?
Thanks for the suggestion, this has been added to our suggestion database.

One more note regarding this, if you only have one type of file to exclude you could use the "Files that do not match" setting to include all files except for the ones that match the specified mask.
