Need help with "save as" action

I am trying to create links to large graphic files that will launch a "save as" dialog box but so far have had no luck. Any suggestions?

There is no "save as" dialog, but it's still probably very easy to do whatever it is you are trying to do. If you wish to post a description of what you are trying to do perhaps we can offer some solutions.

Re: Need help with "save as" action

I have 10 large .eps files that I want to distribute but I don't want them to open as that might take a long time on some machines. I want the user to be able to click on a text link that will let the user save that file to their hard drive. I am now using the "browse folder" action and hoping that the end user will know what to do from there but I would like it to perform just like an html link to the file which lets the user open or save the file.

Use a FILE > COPY action.

Thank you, it kind of works. How can I give the end user the option of choosing where to save the file?

Use a DIALOG > FOLDER BROWSE action to allow your users to specify the destination directory... (path will be stored in whatever variable you specify, i.e. %FullPath%)

              thanks for the unbeleivable support!

I'm a newbie, as my name says! I have figured out a decent solution that will work fine, thanks for your help. Using FOLDER\BROWSE then FILE\COPY actions works great, very custom-looking solution.

I still can't believe that on a sunday night I get virtually immediate forum support. Keep up the good, GREAT, work!
