ok, i finally got a semi stable listicon, its still got the resizing bug but iv overcome everything else (think)

at last, a windows listicon

have fun

before useing this in your software i would test the living daylights out of it first :yes

NP guys, i needed it for a small app i making as the grid is looking real dated

please report any bugs relateing to the usage of the listicon, please dont report "my app crashes when i resize it", i cant fix it!

yeah, i had noticed that, its a problem of the onselect event being fired when the checkbox is clicked, remove or comment my checkbox code in the onselect event (in global functions) and checkboxes work correct, i added that code to check the checkbox when the row is selected, but obviously, that system is flawed

the problem is accessing the callback for the listicon, the most i can seem to catch is a mouse click on the listicon area and use PB functions to gather the object and row id's so its somewhat restricted, i would usally have a callback that provides the selected cell, but in this case its not workable

i liked the png icons

i found a problem :)

horizontal grid lines disappear if you scroll grid with
scroll bar buttons ( Up , Down )

it is not a big problem but it would be good if it is fixed

its down to the redrawing (again) and im not sure i can (want to) work on this any more, its a flawed system, anything i do is not going to make it 100%, i should have listend to IR's advice in the SDK "object plugins can only be written in C++"

wow hold your horses:p, it works fine and I still want to use it (i don't care about those lines lol). If it can be solved, fine. If it can't be solved, fine. lol

You've put a nice flag in there and i can remove it lol.

And obviously, In Vista/7 you have to Window.Close Terminate the program. Or it'll say it crashed.

Great plugin. As u said, just change the global functions to be able to use the checkboxes without problems. I attached your same apz modded.

There is a uba problem in Vista all brands i have Listicons the program starts up soon as you click the program it locks up and says "FK OFF" lol aka cracked
and vista can't find a reason or a way to fix it.

Does anyone know what part of the plugin is doing this? so i can edit it so i can get my program working my software is only in beta 1 but my testers are unable even test the simple options cos of this.

any ideas?

But part for that on XP its a kool extra to AMS.

What he wrote actually does make sense. He's asking why does the plugin make the program crash when he clicks in his program, I understood that just by skimming over it, Anyway. Even if you wanted you couldn't fix it because you don't have the Source Code and Rizla already said it's a known problem. pfffffffff.

I agree, but I think it's a real pain to make an object plugin in Purebasic. We can still use this.

What are you on about cracked software? ......

And i didn't mean edit the plugin its self i was more on about the part of the plugin that is called to make it crash in vista so i wouldn't use that part but
it does not matter in the comming weeks i am going to get resets plugin as
it will be a better job.

Shame you stoped this Riz as it is a really good plugin on xp. Still 10 ++ for your
work.

Just re-read the last 2 pages and the cracked was meant to say crashed...

And i didn't mean edit the plugin its self i was more on about the part of the plugin that is called to make it crash in vista so i wouldn't use that part but
it does not matter in the comming weeks i am going to get resets plugin as
it will be a better job.

Well the whole thing doesn't work in Vista. You could say ListIcon.Create doesn't work on Vista. :V
