Hello,

Attached is a sample project that is giving me a problem. The code works fine! When you preview the page the input object since to blink for a few seconds. Then, on mouse over it blinks as if it's being activated.

Not sure if it's a bug or something in the code. Could someone have a look. Thanks

Why, I don't know but if you remove the image then no flickering/blinking.

You are correct - Remove the image an no flickering/blinking.

Could this be a bug? Should I report it to IR staff?

It only happens if the input is set to multi-line. Weird indeed.

It works fine on my system, no issues at all - XP pro SP3.

Tried on Windows XP SP3 And Vista Ultimate SP1 - The flickering\Blinking is there. Is there a solution other than remove the image?

How do you report this to IR?

Have you tried setting the image as the page background? Then delete the underlying Image.
It's not failing here so I can't test it...

I removed the one image and set the other image as page background - Still flickers.

If I remove all images no flicker!

Confirmed on Windows 7 Beta 1.

I did not think to try Windows 7 Beta 1.

I too have no problem viewing the application using xp xp3. Seems it is somewhat specific to Vista / Windows7--which I cannot test.

I have tried on two Windows XP SP3 computers. I have the issue.

I even reinstalled (clean build) Win XP SP3 no updates. installed AMS 7.5 - and I get the flickering. Installed all updates - issues did not do away.

Dell Optiplex 755
4GB Memory
3.0GHz Intel Quad Core

Dell XPS 420
8GB Memory
3.2GHz Dual Quad Core

I tried it on two other pcs...another desktop and a dell laptop...again, both running xp sp3...and no problems---just like my production PC...it works perfect. This is puzzling.

it can be related with custom windows themes

No custom themes on my XP boxes.

Tried on Dell XPS 1530 Notebook Vista Business - Same issue

Tried on Sony Vaio Windows XP SP3 - Same issue

Tried on Dell GX280 Windows XP SP3 - NO flickering

Compared settings (themes, patches, installed software) all the same software and versioning. Not sure what's going on!
