Web Objects disappearing

Hi. I have a Web Object, plain HTML file, on a page but when I run Preview mode, the web object disappears if you click any part of the page. If I minimise the window and restore again it it there.

Checked all attributes, settings etc but nothing obvious to make web object disappear like this, any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like you laid something (object) above or below your web object. Can't stack objects... Or could it be an errant/forgotten PAGE > HIDE OBJECT action?

Yeah thanks, you could be right. I have a png file as the background image for the page and the web object on top of that. There was a reason for not making the image a background in page poperties but I have been working on this so long now I forget what the reason was?
