Everyone lucky enough to have children will know that one of the joys of parenthood is the funny things that they unwittingly say and do. I've got 3 grandsons now and there have been lots of occasions over the past 40 years when my children/grandchildren have made me laugh out loud.

I was talking with our next door neighbour yesterday who has 3 children, 2 sons 10 and 12 years and a daughter 3 years old. She 'went to see Santa' just before Christmas and in the morning she had been falling out with her younger brother but things had been patched up and everybody was happy again so they thought.

Santa asked what she wanted for Christmas and she told him. The conversation then moved to whether she had any brothers and sisters so she answered the question and Santa asked first what the eldest brother wanted for Christmas. She answered a Contuper (computer) and then the next question was what did her younger brother want. She thought for a couple of seconds and then answered - A cabbage. :lol

That is funny.
I wish I had kept a log of all the things my kids had said over the years.
Back in the day, Art Linkletter had a segment on his daily TV show "Kids say the Darndest things" and was adapted by others over the years. Very funny stuff.
