Problem with irsetup.exe

Have you contacted the author? he's very nice, and I'm sure he'd be willing to work with you.

is your friend an administrator on the pc?
what OS is your friend trying to install on?

The data you've provided looks like the OS has crashed on it -- can your friend use drwatson to create a .dmp file?

Ah, sorry, the OS is Win XP, and the author of Embla has been contacted, and this seems to be something new for them. The software (Embla) has now been tested with a machine with Vista, and worked perfect. So it looks like the installed OS, XP, on that particular machine, is the problem. The author of Embla recommends XP, so I will try to solve it that way. Thank you for your answer. :yes

what service pack level is the XP at? I cannot say for RTM & SP1 versions but Sp2 & SP3 -- do not crash with the windows crash that you posted when running a setup built with SUF.
