Setup Factory repeatedly crashes

Hi

SF8 (8.1.1004.0) crashes quite frequently throughout the day. It seems to happen when I'm closing the screens window. I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit and am running SF8 as an administrator (using run as).

It would be nice to be able to save the project without having to keep leaving the editing screens too...

Can you post steps to replicate?

I loaded up one of my more complex SUF8 installers (lots of screens, including multiple "custom" screens) on a Vista (Business, not "ultimate") x64 OS...

I modified it (current project I'm working on) for just under an hour -- no crashes...

I then created a new setup & just rapidly edited screens over and over and over -- couldn't get it to crash...

It's not happening anymore which is good...and bad. Of course I'm being really paranoid about saving my work now :D

We actually did recently come across a potential problem when editing screens that did occasionally cause a crash, even though you were using an older version at the time. This problem should be fixed for the next service release.
