View Full Version : playing a CD or MP3s

hi everyone. if anyone could help with this problem, i would be more than happy. my band has a new cd coming out and we are designing an enhanced portion. now, this is my problem: i want to either be able to play the CD from the ehnacement, hit a button and make windows play the CD, or if neither of those work, i want to be able to play high quality mp3s from the CD without having to load the mp3s seperately. basically a playlist, where i can have previous and next buttons. if anyone can help, i owe you.

Sure it's not a problem to do that with AMS. What do you mean by "from the enhancement"?

well i want to be able to go to a page in the project and have buttons that say "stop, play, previous, next, etc." just like a CD player program, so that i can play my CD through the project. so when a person buys our CD and puts it in their computer, they can just play it from the project. i am just having a hard time finding out how to do this. i appreciate your help, hopefully you understand what i am getting at.

Have you tried using one of the built in MP3 player templates such as the "Chrome MP3 Player"? I was also wondering, have you spent a few minutes checking out the product and trying a few things yet? It's really easy to learn and once you get the basics, the rest is easy...

All the Actions are included and it will allow you to see how it works /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

hey that helps a lot. the only thing that i need that this project doesn't have is a way to have all of the mp3s pre-loaded, go from one track to the next automatically, and have forward and back buttons. so basically, i don't want the user to have to load any files manually at all, i want everything preloaded so they can just hit play and it will cycle through all of the mp3s that are pre-loaded in order. thanks again everyone for your help, i can see things coming together.
