View Full Version : Keeping a "Pretty" Directory Structure

Hi. I understand that the "docs" folder has to remain. If my users decide to browse the cd from a file explorer window, they will just have to figure out that all of the content is in "docs"; however, I can't seem to control how everything shows up in that docs folder. I would like to make it a lot more logical. Is there a way to force a directory structure there?

Also... some of my direct links off of the menu interface are to images of our products. When I create a structure for these in the menu builder interface, and I point the menu to them, the software copies my product images to the CD's own "images" directory. I don't want this to happen because it is not logical for the users to think all content is in the "docs" folder and not be able to find the product images there. Can I override where all content is stored no matter what kind of files it is?

Thanks!
Paula

Hello,

I don't see the problem... If you organize your images in subfolders of \Autorun\Docs, they won't be copied to the Images folder for a second time.

1) Place the images you want to use somewhere under the Docs folder.

2) Insert the image placeholder on the page.

3) When browsing for the file name for the image, use "My Project", navigate to the subfolder of Docs, click the image, and you're done.
