View Full Version : Embedding a PDF
Is there anyway to embed Adobe reader so a user can read the PDF on disk without installing the program.

The best way to handle that is to include the Adobe Acrobat reader on the CD.
There's a knowledge base article that should help you out: INFO: Running Acrobat Reader on a CD-ROM (http://www.indigorose.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=KBAMS40&Number=13569&page= 0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=0&fpart=)

I'd like to know if it is possible to show PDF content directly in an AMS menu. With no (or configurable) controls. Via the Acrobat activeX control it shouldn't be a bid deal but HOW?
The text layout possibilities in AMS are so very basic /ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif
(thinking aloud: why not a cross of Pagemaker and AMS?)
Any Idea?
