great to see SF8 is out, new features look really cool!

Can't see what's the upgrade price for those having SF7 ?

Also is there a place to get the SF8 help file (.chm) alone?

Does it install as a separate app or will try to upgrade installed SF7?

Hello,

You can upgrade now through the customer portal (click the Upgrade button next to any of your previous SUF versions). The price is displayed before you check out (single license upgrade is currently $295 if memory serves).

Regarding the help file ... you can view the SUF80 help file online here:

As with all of our upgrade offerings, Setup Factory 8.0 is a separate application. The 'upgrade' is simply reduced pricing for our existing Setup Factory customers.

Upgrade pricing must be an art-form!

Three of my most-used, highly sophisticated software products are upgrading at about the same time. SUF8 - $295. Product B - $140. Product C - $49.

I wonder how they decide the pricing .... :huh
