"NEW! 100% Import of Setup Factory 7.0 Projects
Upgrading to Setup Factory 8.0 is completely hassle-free. Simply open up your Setup Factory 7.0 project file and go. That's it!"

Brilliant! Every upgrade should be that simple!

Has the internal SF format changed? If so, is there an option to save SF8 project files in the SF7 format (even with some loss of functionality)?

As I was not involved in the beta this time (never was asked ;)) I do hope that the various bugs that were reported & have been outstanding for some time in SUF7.0 have been fixed as well?

Hi Mike Linacre,

The internal format of SUF projects has changed slightly from Setup Factory 7.0, so when you open your 7.0 project it will be saved as an 8.0 project (with the 8.0 extension to preserve your original file).

Currently there is no way to downgrade projects back to 7.0.

Mark,

Thanks for that. I thought they may have been forgotten about.;) Will obviously let you know if I find anything.
