View Full Version : Eric Darling, that is a sharp app!!
Eric,
I just used your BitRate Calculator for a project. Boy, that is a sharp little app you have there!! :yes:D
What did you use to change the icon in the mac version of the app? If ya don't mind me asking..
Please tell me that dragging and dropping the icon in the file info panel is the way to do it. It can't be that easy!!
Yep. It is. I love macs!!

Eric I have to admit that it is quite interesting to read about what are you talking about with yourself ;)

Heee! :D Yeah, he likes to talk to himself - it's a sign of genius or madness, or maybe both, I don't know...
What Eric isn't saying is that he took my AMS app and converted it into Flash for me so it could work on a Mac. And he did it all without even being asked. It's my concept, but it wouldn't have been cross-platform without his assistance.
And, yes, that's the way you do custom Mac icons, Eric. Except I think I actually made it into a .icns somehow.... In any case, you got it.

That you have used code of mine is a surprise! I'm more the GUI guy, and less the coder, but I'm glad to have been of service. :)
I can't count how many times I've borrowed snippets of yours - surely a half-dozen or so by now...
I must admit - I use that little calculator nearly every week. By far, it's my most used app of all times, and such a simple little guy.
