explorer.exe and systemtray app

What i've noticed, is when you have an SystemTray application
running when you terminate Explorer.exe (or this happends when
windows decides to stall again) the icon in the system tray dissapears...

Does anyone know anything for this?:P

How long since you did a virus check of your full drive. I had that, and it was an infection. Benign but enough to **** me off.

Windows framework fires an event for inform all running applications
when this happend , i cannot remember now ; Onsystray(); or like this

but you can not handle this event from within a ams application

Thanks Reteset, that's a bugger... lol:P cos i have noticed it on some applications (Itunes, my own apps) but, as you say, msn, nod32, deamontools etc. stays
