Hi guys, I'm currently working on developing a security plugin for AMS. Security as in CDROM DRM and .exe security. I expect to have this complete and available in 45 days. I would appreciate any action suggestions for the “New action Wizard” dialog.
Thanks
Mike

Or no one really understood what you were doing/talking about... (?)
I for one was unclear on your goals so thought I'd wait to comment....
Most CD copy protection mechanisms that have been tried ultimiately failed....

Well, yes there is no "good" way to copy protect a CD. My intent was to develop an "actual plugin" that would add CD copy protection to your project and/or autorun.exe file with a few mouse clicks. I only intended to add a good measure of copy protection, without any performance loss. My personal take on CD copy protection, is that it only keeps honest people honest, kind of like a padlock. Too many people are concerned about developing a un-crackable DRM scheme, IMHO that is not possible. The only thing a complex DRM scheme accomplishes is that it drives up the cost to the end consumer, and it's still get cracked.
I'm not good enough to code this, so I compiled a set of project specifications and let the project to bid. I never recieved any good proposals on it, I could post it for bid again, but I don't think there is enough interest to recover my costs. If I'm wrong...... now is the time for everybody to speak up.
