using ini files

in my project i use ini file for setting and resetting the value, but i have a question if i burn the same project in a CD/DVD will it be able to work since Writing on CD/DVD is only one time process. wheather the project will work or else should i use pendrive or some similar device

if you use an ini for cd project it would be best to have the ini created in the windows system folder that way it can be edited.

i would use a hidden ini file in the users my docs folder, in case of vistagrrrrrrrrrrr!!
