silent update check shows in taskbar

When the silent update check is performed, the program shows up in the taskbar for the duration of the check.

Is there a way to have the silent update check not show in the taskbar unless it brings up a dialog?

Open Project Settings dialog. Switch to Options tab. At the bottom of the dialog, change Taskbar Visibility option from Taskbar to Hidden.
