you could make another ams app that has the fixed exe's in it and simply have the user select the installed dir and have it copy/overwrite the old one's. Or you might look into IR's TrueUpdate [very nice proggy made for this sorta thing]
thanks for the replay
about True Update I have downloaded it before but i think it needs An Update
Server which i don't have at the moment so what i am asking is can i create an
update file without needing to connect to a server?
and thanks again.

in the files options if you want to override them all just select all
SUF:
File Properties > General Tab > at the bottem chat to Always Override existing Files
AMS:
Just when you copy a file tell it to overide true
kinda simple

What do you people mean by "'I hate True Update"?
I am not a programmer but I was considering purchasing Trueupdate as a way of "pushing"new and updated presentations/pdfs to our sales team using a "Check for Updates" button
Looking at your emails, I am a bit wary of getting out of my depth
Would appreciate if someone can provide the upsides and downsides before I make my decision
Thanks
