It would require a lot of math, but it might be possible from within your AMS application. You would have to get the current mouse coordinates, compare those to the application, then gather which objects share that same space by getting their position and size. Once all that was accomplished, it'd be cakewalk to get the link. Again, however, all of this would only be doable from within the AMS environment (I can't see a way to do this from say... a webpage or even web object for that matter).
