Hey all just would like to give back what i made with Simple chat and WindowsEx
plugin

I call it Windows Lan Messenger Home 2.5
Still very basic but looks kinda nice i feel :)

Please forget the copyright notice on the settings page that was just meant to
say my name but i copyed it for nother project and forgot to take out optics - media.

Some Things i am still confused about as i wanted to sent a message link sHello
and it would play a sould at the other end still not able to do that yet maybe
i have to get it to read the string of test what as been sent after then play same with getting smalies to works.

Just a little message to worm why can't i Convet this to rish text ? just
wont play ball :(.

I tried it and it just said it encountered a problem then closed... nothing more.

thanks that error you are getting at the end its not a error really its just
telling it was unable to send to close messange to whom your talking to
this was mosly cos you was not talking to anyone lol if you do it again
and put your computers name in the friends computer name box this then
close it will not show that message.

and yes thanks RizlaUK i was going to do this in version 3
but work on this as fallen behind as i have not been 2 well.

still don't know 100% how to change some things and still working
on how to get imagers to show after a work as been send like s$yes
should when done = a Hand like this :yes kinda thing.

but lost lost how to do this with the how the script works to send the
info and i was going to make the image how up in a dialog.image as its not
going to show up in the text/pra field so i would need to find a way to make it just say yes to the user via text as well might set it as more of a wink kinda Optin with a sould with it just to get the other persons atation.

That error message I got wasn't at the end: I just double-clicked the icon and it did it. I got it without having the time to even just see the app; it seems to be the same thing jfxwave got.

ok i have now seen this error for my self yes this for the time being is a XP only software next version will not let you install it on to vista.

my vista pc will be offline for about 2 days but after that i will install AMS 7 on to that and move work over to there and save all the files to a network drive so i can share the work load over vista and xp i don't see why this would not work
on vista but its been gay like that :)

if anyone can thing of a way to fix this as setting it in windows xp mode dose not work.

A none working version will be out next week to show you what it looks like under vista but you will not be able to send any lan messeangers.

hey seems the demo version as a problem with it so i am going
to rebuilt it withing 6 will take me sometime unless you know of a way to
open a 7's in 6 to downgrade it

Hey all just giving you a update i have changed the way it sends
from the luasock to a dll dotnet framwork.

Good news seems i was able to keep alot of the new options and style
in version 2.6 i have tested it in xp and i have tested the core in vista now
this should work :)

I am going to have a look at it see that can be added then i am going to redo
the installer and then reupload it.

Now works well my end atlest on Vista and XP hoping it will your end

when typed on its own you will get a sound.
At this time only 2 sounds have been addded
just to test see what you think

Self Sending:
also there is now a little icon next to friends of a house click that and
it will put you computers name in there so for thous who want to test
but don't have a Lacal Area Network can test it kinda sad to send messages
to your self but lol still fun to test it out.

About Button:
Like all software is nice to have a little about button to
credit the maker and just say thanks for using there for there is a
little icon in the top right on both pages with this :)


Changers:
I have changes the Skin's Options in setting to None and default
as i am planing to add new options and new skins to go with them
so in the future the skins will be changeable.

Also changed ... hmmm lol i have forgot lol well just look in settings
as changes but thats it

I am hoping to add Winks and more soulds to this and also a online messenger interated within the software somewhere i am testing with many online
services at the mo but that i would like to make one that i handle the server end the reporting and managering the service and keeping users safe on there so i am looking in to many ways to do this.

Fix's to be done:
1.Enter Key added back as i missed it out sorry about that.

2.Close send message to open user so they know your left once again i forgot/missed it out will fix it 2.7

3.remove Comments from Version details as much as i love Indigorose
i don't want this in the version details so i have to remove this once again
but there was no point in version 2.6 as this was the fix of 2.5 and needed
to get it working first.

What will be new:
I will add more soulds and add a soulds list on the right and side so you don't have to type the comand anymore you will be able to just click the icon
i al going to leave it saying the comand tho so people with no sould so
reasons only they know or maybe ilness will still know that you sent them.

This will be the last version of 2 unless anyone as some beta ideas
then i will make another version 2 but if not then Version 3 work will start
about a week after version 2.7

2.7's Date is still unknows but in about 3 week should be out.

thanks Fox yes that will be great i guess a welcome aboard is in order
mostly version 4 will be the mutly lang version and i will give you
free style of the graphics there for if you feel something would look
better submite the graphics and we can then see how adding it would
work :)

i have tested it on vista and it opened up and everything but i think
they might be a problem with the skin and buddy list not 100% sure
as i was runnig it on my VPC.

WLM 2.7 Missed!

I have missed out 2.7 as today how i was adding the fixes and i kind of
added some new options what i feel change the version so i am now
working on version 3 Code name Keymate

Whats new:
I will add alist of whats new when i have fixed the bugs and
finished the revamp.:yes

a F9 Clean Screen.

Ok changing alot of code around and things i seem to have make it worse now
the next no longer changes and it no longer like wav files.

i need to read the the message before it is show to the user and
the if contacts lest say esYahoo on its own it would play the yahoo
wav and change the text to message.Sender.." As Just Yodaled at you"

if there is no wav it will change the the text but if there is a wav it
then dose nothing but show esYahoo with no should at all.

i just don't get it as it worked before.

Great news the thing works on vista from what i can see :)
i need to test it over 2 systems tho i am able to send a message from
my xp system and the vista version will get it but when i try and get
it back it tells me that its unable to get a response now i don't know
why this is might be my network or that vista trys to send it diff kinda lost
why at this time so anyone with 2 vista pcs please can you test it

i want to start work on WOM Serenity
a online version i would like make a messenger that looks like this
with icons and but no soulds at this time for muti chat rooms and
buddy chat i know this is a job and a half but i would like to do this

i know i am taking on a big project with trying to make a online messenger
what is based in ams i know the way way is to enbed a web page
and 3rd party scripts well i have done this with PHP121 as i make
there desktop protable for them but i want to messenger to be like
yahoo or msn with more online safty for younger people and even
older people.

anyone wants to join this project please PM me more the better and
this is long team project and all new ways of using AMS will be posted here and all versions also.

I have given up VB and AMS seems to be the best way for me to go so want to help me then PLEASE DO :D

WLM Keymate:

I am working on Keymate today again to try and new options
and maybe lean more to be able to start my new project but who
knows when that will be so here is what is/has be happing in the
land of WLM 3.0

New Version Builds:
3.1 -- This saw the return of Sent messages been show to the sender
3.2 -- This saw the change of self send to Debug mode this is just the same
but now when you send your self a message it will no longer state your computers name it will state that its "Debug Mode:".
3.2.5 -- This saw the added on key option of F7 this will now set Debug mode

Next Release Version:
Next Version i will release will be 3.3 and this will have on exit/close send exit message to other user

all 3.1/2/2.5 options will be added to this release

Custom Mood Icons:
[Custom Mood Icons are a option but not built in to the theme as these will have to be installed on both ends of the network to show them to the other
user you may add custom ones to your themes but please remeber that they
might not be submitted to the last theme edit or that the other users might
not benafite from this so it would only be your or the single user eye candy.]

About Button:
The about button must stay the same from what it says
as there will be a About Theme Button in the Settings page
Please Feel free to reword the about button and change the icon
you may change it from a dialog message to slash* or maybe something
else as long as it states the right info and if i need to the option to change
the test within the about.

Soon as one or 2 themes are inplace the About themes will have a set
needed things within it like that about button but you will have the chose to
reword not change but reword it and add your email address this is not a request
email address must be vailed or all rights to the theme will fall to myself and then
i might discard the theme if i theme its braking copyright

Theme Guid Lines:
Please Keep all theme ideas clean aka no over the top **** images
Anime and other things like that are not 2 bad if there not 2 rude as remeber
this software might be used by younger people also.

Please keep in mind that your theme will be in the public's eye not just yours
there for try make it friendly to a group of people not 1 person.

Please don't use copyrighted images without the owners promistion also
promistion for the copyright must be emailed to myself stateing that
we are able to us it and it must be from the owner if theme comes back
as copyrighted the theme will be deleted from my server, hard drive and
details of the auther of that theme will be given to the owner so they
can contact them to ask them to change the theme from using there work.

Theme Copyright:
Themes what are not braking any copyright laws will be protacted by the
Auther and myself no other 3ed party people will be able to have the rights to
change edit or submite that theme with changes without the authers and my pormistion.

To get that please email the Auther first then ask the Auther to Contact me
so i know its all above board.

Hosting themes:
Please only submite your themes here unless the theme files is 2 big
as other within indigorose might be able to use the layout for a project
with the auther promistion of course.

If the files it 2 big DO NOT use file sharing sites please submite to your
own host or send to me and i will host it for others to download if thats
what you want if not just send to me via msn or yahoo PM me for details
on that and i will then work on making your theme work with the software.

Once theme is made i will host the Theme on my server if you would like to
host the themes please ask first for pormistion if found without pormistion
i am will take the matter up with the auther and legal action might be taken
so please make sure you are not hosting without mine and authers pormition.

Also No rights will be given to sell any themes all theme are free no matter
whom make it as this software is free if you have had to buy a theme contact
me with details with whom from. if you was changed from the auther then
please ask for your money back.

Authers Rules:
To make themes you have to simply keep it clean and lawfull
you are not in anyway alowed to change for the theme.
you are not alowed to use file sharing site as to get full use you
must pay for there service and WLM will not be linked with anything like
that.

You must OWN a copy of Autoplay Media Studio 7
You may use 6 but once added to the themes of the program editing
will not be possable anymore.

Some problems with vista and i think the firewall as been found i will be
looking in to this matter latter see why vista will not send messages back to a users it will happy get the message lets say off xp but want send the message
back.

i burned into a cd when you post the apz but i cant find the cd :huh im going to look for it ine day and if i found it i will let you know! thanks anyway rexzooly! (i know that it didnt work on vista, lua cocket didn work on vista) but i read that one user exported the script onto vb script or other language (i cant remember what programing language)

rename the extension from ".lua" to ".dll", thats the only way you are going to do that, its just not possible

I am back to good old XP so i am going to restart this project back up if i can find the files that is. anyone got a good idea how to record and send 3 sec maybe little longer sound clips ? cos like to add this option.

Goods i found a verion BAD new i can't releace the Coding as seems i change it from one system to another its now using a DLL called "MessageExchanger.dll"
and i can't with the life in me think where in the **** i got it from i think it was from Worm or RizlaUK but i really don't remeber if you guys can update me on that one be nice and i also wont be releaceing any new version Source just yet but i will be striping some things out of this one and will releace it when i find the owner of this DLL and have pormission to give it out as part of the soruce.

i didnt found anything of your net messenger, instead of it i take the base of the messageexchanger.dll too and now im making a lan messenger with that dll

im waiting for ams 8 to be able to make conversation windows like pages..., but for now im making a interface like skype 4 beta wich didnt like to me... but its the only way i know...

im asking me if its possible to send files via messageexchanger, i read anywhere that its possible but the how to its unknown... if you be able to send files like conversation clips please make me know, you can use the VOICE RECORD to record a file (you have an SoundRecorder.apz located at amsuser.com (http://www.amsuser.com)wich was made by Worm) , but i dont know how to send it, i only thing about http.submit via php and pararelly send a comand with the download url wich could be interpreted with the script and make it download and play but that requires a php server,... other way could be to use a ftp... to much prehystoric for my opinion...

Vista is not used by people that my software will be used by most company and larg lan system stull us XP well most are still on 2000 so this softwares life as still got alot to offer.

I am just finishing the new demo i will have it up for you to test soon.

and only reason home users have vista is cos its forced on them
you have no choose in the matter these days.

This app dose work under vista just getting the ports to listen was a problem
never got around to fixing it.

yeah most of their computers came with vista preinstalled so they prefer vista...

Ok just to get her our there i have not made any changers much just the name
and also updated the app with WinAPI as it used the old WindowsEX

I am going to clean the code up later also and add new options also a new look
will be added a more corpart look i think will fit the bill.

Read WLM funtion list for the functions this one as.

also remeber F9 clears the screen and F7 puts it in Debug Mode for same PC
testing.
