Document to open settings

Since upgrading from AM6 trial to AM7 full I am unable to change the document to open settings. The document to open box is grayed out but it will still allow me to browse & select a file. When I hit ok after selecting the file though the document to open box is still blank or set to the previous document (if editing an existing button).

Any ideas on what the problem is?

ok it just got stranger. I had tried changing the document to open from one file to another on an existing button. While doing that I ran into the issue as stated above. I had also tried changing the action from open document to none & back again. When I would do that I'd get the following error:

The following validation error has occurred:

The document to open setting is blank.

OK

I had left this error up while typing the last post. By the time I'd finished that & hit OK on the error it had changed the document to open setting to point to the correct file. I'm guessing then there's a bug in the sw & this is now in the wrong forum.
