project-settings-version?

Hi,
Before this 7 version, I was able to go to project- settings - version and add some custom information but now I can't click the box next to: Stamp executable with custom information. Is that new or a bug?

Here it says I can customize but in an earlier version. Please, I'd like an answer or I'll just go back to the earlier version I had but what a loss..
and can I open this saved project in an earlier version or not? I can't imagine losing all my work.

That feature is available in version 7 unless you are using the trial version.
