    SlideShow Index of sequential Files wrong

    I have added a Folder with files like:
    ss1.jpg
    ss2.jpg
    ss3.jpg
    ...
    ss10.jpg
    ss11.jpg
    ...
    ss20.jpg

    but in the SlideShow filelist the files are in the wrong order (index is not right).
    insted of counting upwards its like this:
    1 = ss1.jpg
    2 = ss10.jpg
    3 = ss11.jpg
    ...
    10 = ss2.jpg
    11 = ss20.jpg
    12 = ss21.jpg
    ...
    x = ss3.jpg
    and so on.

    Is it possible to use the index in the order of numbers behind the image name when all files have the same name?

    Try name your files using this idea:

    img0001.jpg
    img0002.jpg
    ...
    img0010.jpg
    img0011.jpg

    shall be fine then. As far as I know, it's the OS that sorts out the files like that and probably the indexer makes use of some system functions.

      Madsens's solution is the only way. They are sorted alphabetically so ss10 will always come before ss2.

        Vista

        Seems that on Vista the files are ordered correctly ('humanly')
