    Newbie thank's & questions

    Hi all, I have had AP4 for acouple of months and I am very impressed with it's ease of use to a non programmiming and un technical newbie. I have managed (with the help of the forums) to make a project with 21 thumbnails linking to 21 full size pics, each linking to a close up.
    My questions are;
    Can I scroll a whole page having the scroll bar on the extreme left?
    If I make a flash (.fla) presentation how do I place it into my application?
    OK and cheers
    Newbie friendly answers please !!!

    I do not believe that there is any way to include a left scrollbar in a Web Browser Object. Are you using the Web Browser Object?

    If you want to include a flash file in your project you can simply create a Flash Object and give it the filename of the flash file that you want to show.

      Yes Adam's right.

      1. You cannot add scroll bars directly to AMS pages.

      2. The only objects which can contain thumbnail images and which support scroll bars would be the web object and the flash object.

      3. In the case of a web object scroll bars are restricted to the right side and bottom only.

      4. In the case of a Flash object you can easily add a scroll bar to the left by rotating a scrollPane and then adding your content upside down, but the standard way is to have the scroller on the right. (Text fields in flash accept scroll bars on any edge)

      5. To add a Flash object it's just as Adam says above.

        Corey,
        Let me correct you on the "right only scroll bar" issue.
        You can tel a browser to show the scrollbar on the left if you use dir="RTL" tag. This is beeing done a lot with right-to-left languages like hebrew and arabic.
