Hello everyone,

After a hard work, I finally succeed to create my app. The use is simple:

When you start a job (a project), you enter the infos in the inputs. So when you work on it, you click on "Start" and it will count the time you working. When taking a pause, you click on "Pause". The time will stop. When you restart, you click on "Start" again and it will continue where you stopped it.

It can also calculate the cost of the project for the customer (ex: if baseprice is $100 and hourly is 60, it will show $160 after an hour. Magic!

You can also save comments relater to your project (like a TODO list), choose one of the four skin colors, and start it with Windows if needed.

There's also a "Compact Mode" that stays in the corner of your screen, displaying only the cost and the time. All the data are saved in a file that can be loaded anytime or exported and opened on another machine.

With its great functionallities and cool design, it's near perfect! The best: it's free!

Thanks, waiting for feedback/suggestions!

Hi!
Ive had a lil play with this and it really seems good, there is, however, 1 small thing:

when ya click on compact, it minimises to taskbar, but I get an error, titled "Runtime" and the error says: Error: Could not find data file.

When i minimise it as normal, no error message, and I have even saved the job too, just a bif of feedback there! and Id also love the source so I could change for english pounds (£) too, but keep goin, im well impressed :wow:cool:D:)

Ok. Thanks. I tried and I just forgot to include a shared data file. I will update as soon as I can.

I will see If I can add a setting where you can choose the money (ex: $, €, £,...).
I'll add soon, thanks!

So the TODO lost:
-Add a setting for the money.
-Correct the page titles in english (top menu >> change "Réglages" for "Settings").
-Add the custom icons and filetype icons.

I had problems with uploading on Box.Net, I'll try later.
For now, it works so:
- http://files-upload.com/423387/Fox_Diamond_Fr_.zip.html (Version Française)
- http://files-upload.com/en/423390/Fox_Diamond_Eng_.zip.html (English Version)

This only corrects the "compact mode" problem. I'm currently on another project, but I'll work on the corrections/new functions when I have the time.

First of all, the new link seems dead...
Pretty cool app FoxLeader, like it so far...Just want to help out with a lil bug I picked up. When all Input objects are empty and the user click on the start button, an error message keeps popping up - you may want to disable it or warn the user that the inputs are empty...
Another lil bug, is when the user click on the "Reset" label, the "Start" label turns to French...

You may want to look into this, but nice app so far...As far as suggestions go, Id like an option where the user would be able to print a report of the project to maybe a txt or html file...

Thanks and Good luck in taking the app further:yes

Hmm.. Thanks for your comments. I'll take a look at that and correct those errors.
For the server... well, I'll try to find a better one ;)
And... I did it in french and translated it after xD

So as soon as I get home, I'll try to find some time ;)

This will come in handy, very nice.

You may want to look at the TAB order of the input boxes.
